Block
Introduction
With this tool you can build blocks and use all the features that flowize offers, from images, conditions, functions, variables... and many more things.
Overview
Page that shows a list of Blocks, one in each row, and with some easy understanding info in each column, besides an Actions menu.
Create block
For creating a block you must click on the New Content button located at the top right of the overview. After clicking you will be asked if you want to create it from a blank page or get a Template. Once you choose one of them you will only have to name it and... you are ready to start creating.
Edit block
For getting to the editing view you have two options: double click on its row or, in the Actions menu, choose Edit. When done, you will see an editor with some buttons on the top and right. Let's explain them:
Action | Icon | Description |
---|---|---|
Device type | It lets you change the way you see the block (Desktop, Tablet, Mobile landscape and Mobile) | |
Undo/Redo | As the words say, the let you go back or forward over the changes you have made | |
Views | You can swap among X-Ray, Full screen and preview views | |
Import | Different ways to import your block (Source code or old version already in Flowize). Third icon is takes you by a helping wizard |
Each of the last group of icons modifies the content which is shown below them, so they give us more functionalities. Let's explain them a little bit:
Action | Icon | Description |
---|---|---|
Content settings | You can customize some parts of the content, in this case the block subject | |
Blocks | By drag and drop you can add many elements to your block. They are organized by categories | |
Component settings | With this functionality you can add Conditions and Database queries to your blocks' components, as well as setting an id and a title for it | |
Style manager | This one allows you to give some styles to the components of your blocks |
