Templates
As of September 26th 2023, the Templates functionality described in this document is officially deprecated and will no longer be available for new projects. Please note that we will cease providing support for this feature. Existing projects using Templates can continue to operate as usual, but we encourage transitioning to alternative solutions as soon as possible to ensure ongoing compatibility and support. For more information on alternative solutions or guidance on transitioning, please contact our support team.
This section allows you to create your content (website, email, content block, plain text or pdf) from a template. This means that you don't have to create it from zero, you can just load a template, modify it and giving it shape as you wish.
Overview
Page that shows a list of Templates, one in each row, and with some easy understanding info in each column, besides an Actions menu.
Create template
For creating a template you must click on the New Template button located at the top right of the overview. After clicking you will be asked to select what type of template you wish to create (website, email, content block, plain text or pdf). Once you choose one of them some different templates will be displayed so you can choose the one that adapts better to what you need.
Edit template
For getting to the editing view you have two options: double click on its row or, in the Actions menu, choose Edit. The editing page has two parts. On the left part you can see/edit the code of your template and, in the right one, a preview of it. As you modify the left part, the right one gets automatically updated. In the upper part you will see some buttons. Let's explain them:'
Action | Description |
---|---|
Device type | It lets you change the way you see the website (Mobile, Tablet, Desktop) |
Preview | Three options: W3C Validator (checks if the template has errors, according to this popular tool), Download (in html format) and Send test (you will be able to receive this template as an email in the address you introduce after clicking on this option) |
Edit | Undo/redo on typing and increase/decrease editor font size |
Tools | Lets you introduce different kinds of components to the template, as images, functions, conditions, variables or attributes |
